How do I get help?
It’s important to know that abortion is still legal in Maine and MaineCare (Maine’s Medicaid) and most private insurances cover abortion care. But that doesn’t cover all of us! We work closely with clinics in Maine, New Hampshire and online. We provide funding directly to the clinic where you receive care. Contact one of the abortion providers listed below to make an appointment and ask for SAFE funding. Call us as needed.
In addition to helping with the cost of your appointment, if you are getting care at Mabel Wadsworth Center or Maine Family Planning, we can help with transportation and additional costs by offering gift cards - ask your healthcare team for one!
