How do I get help?

If you need financial assistance for an abortion:

1. Make an appointment for the care that you need. We list the clinics we partner with below.

   Note: SAFE and all Maine clinics offer phone interpretation services.

2. Let the clinic know you need SAFE funding. We provide funding directly to the clinic where you receive care.

3. If you are receiving care at a clinic not listed below, we can still help - call us at 207-370-9722 or email gethelp@gmail.com

If you need a ride to or from the clinic, help paying for gas, food, hotel, or childcare:

1. Call, text, or Signal message us at 207-370-9722 or email gethelp@safemaine.org

2. If it goes to voice message, please leave a message with the date/time/location of your appointment, and someone will get back to you within two business days (Our office closures are listed here.)
